E-mail addresses

I review hundreds of resumes per month from medical job seekers. I am often struck by how unprofessional people’s e-mail addresses are.
Candidates need to be aware that potential employers look at everything on a resume. One of the first things that they see is the e-mail address.
I personally delete resumes with cutesy sounding addresses like “tinkerbell” or “discobabe”. It tells me a lot about how serious and professional a candidate I am dealing with.
Get yourself a professional, no-nonsense e-mail address before you start on that resume!
